I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in political science from Towson University. I am currently pursuing my Master of Arts in teaching with a concentration on social science in May. My plans for the future include teaching high school geography, history, government, and civics. Right now, I'm working as a substitute teacher for middle school and high school students. I also volunteer weekly at the Greater Homewood Community Corporation, teaching reading fundamentals to adults in Baltimore who have trouble reading. As far as tutoring is concerned, I'm adept at teaching essay editing, U.S. history, world history, writing, social sciences, political science, literature, law, government, and creative writing. I'm especially proficient with writing research papers, essays, and short stories. Throughout my undergrad career, many of my peers came to me for writing guidance, and I often helped them out by editing their compositions.Differentiated teaching drives my teaching philosophy. Since every student's approach to learning varies, I customize my teaching methods to what helps each student absorb the material, whether it's through visual, kinesthetic, or auditory means.When I'm not teaching, I enjoy following sports. Although my days of playing sports are in the rearview mirror, I continue to be a big fan of football, baseball, and basketball.
